WP7 – Integration methods for risk managament + planning

In this WP the risk information and risk maps are transfered to precautionary measures of spatial planning, protection works and other structural and non structural measures. In the first phase a scoping study of the participating partners analyses the practise of risk management by spatial planning in the different countries. Relevant partners in cooperation with other planning organisations, responsible for transfer of risk information into planning, realise pilot test projects in selected partner countries. The WP includes examplary implementation of the risk information into regional and / or local spatial planning with involvement of municipalities or in structural measures for industry or infrastructures. The WP includes action for the discussion and specification of local planning demands on the risk maps. In workshops and an evaluation feedback to the work packages harmonisation and mapping in the transnational context is provided. PP1 FEA-A will develop a pilot application upstream Vienna, to Kreams, in Tullnefeld Nord,; PP11-DDNI-RO will develop a pilot project in harbour cities areas Giurgiu-Ruse, PP4-UACE-BG will develop a pilot on the Nikopol-Ruse Danube sector. Detailed presentations are annexed to this document.
